For 27 years, The McKelvie Group Real Estate Team has proudly carried on this community tradition, purchasing pumpkins and donating our time to bring this event to life. In return, we simply ask our community to bring a non perishable food donation or cash donation for the Calgary Food Bank.
For 27 years, The McKelvie Group's Pumpkin Giveaway has brought families together for one of our favourite fall traditions. Each October, twelve huge bins of pumpkins are transformed into a pumpkin patch at the Tuscany Club, and families from Tuscany, northwest Calgary and surrounding communities join us to choose a pumpkin and enjoy the day.
What makes this event special isn't really the pumpkins. It's watching kids proudly arrive with their colouring contest entries, families stopping for photos, neighbours catching up and parents showing their children how a simple food or cash donation can help another family in our community.
Over the years, thousands of pumpkins have gone home, countless photos have been taken and thousands of dollars have been raised for the Calgary Food Bank. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has made this tradition part of their family's fall, and we can't wait to do it all again this October.
Join us for The McKelvie Group’s 27th Annual Pumpkin Giveaway at the Tuscany Club on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This family-friendly community event supports the Calgary Food Bank and brings together pumpkins, photos, kids’ activities and plenty of fall fun.
BRING A DONATION, TAKE HOME A PUMPKIN
Bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the Calgary Food Bank and choose a pumpkin to take home, while quantities last.
WHAT SHOULD I DONATE?
Not sure what to bring? Some of the Calgary Food Bank’s most-needed items include canned tomatoes, canned pasta sauce, pasta, rice, peanut butter, baby formula and granola bars. Other welcome donations include canned vegetables and fruit, soup, beans, lentils, canned fish or meat, cereal, oatmeal, school snacks, diapers and personal hygiene products.

Stop by our fall photo area for a complimentary professional family or pet photo. Your digital photos will be available right here on this page beginning Wednesday, October 21, for you to download and keep at no charge.
COLOURING CONTEST & KIDS’ FUN
Kids can enter our colouring contest, enjoy activities and treats, and meet our pumpkin mascot. Print the colouring sheet using the link near the top of this page and bring your completed entry to the event.
Colouring contest winners will be drawn and announced Wednesday, October 21. Prize details will be added as they are confirmed.
CARVE IT. SHARE IT. WIN!
Take your pumpkin home and turn it into something great! Carve or decorate your pumpkin, share a photo on social media and tag The McKelvie Group to be entered into our Pumpkin Carving Draw.

COFFEE, HOT CHOCOLATE & GIVING BACK
Coffee and hot chocolate will be available for purchase from our on-site coffee truck, with $1 from every drink donated to the Calgary Food Bank.
