Pumpkin Giveaway

A 27-YEAR TRADITION OF GIVING BACK

ONE PUMPKIN. ONE DONATION. TOGETHER WE GIVE BACK.

Thank you for making our 27th Annual Pumpkin Giveaway such a special day. 🧡

Seeing families choosing pumpkins, kids proudly showing off their colouring, neighbours catching up and pets joining in for photos reminded us why we love this tradition. The pumpkins bring us together, but it’s the people who make the day worth looking forward to every year.

Together, you donated 1,580 pounds of food to the Calgary Food Bank! The cash donation total is still being confirmed, and we look forward to sharing it with you. Your contributions will support the Food Bank’s Emergency Food Hamper Program, which assists more than 900 households each day.

Whether you brought food, made a cash donation, lent a hand or simply took the time to stop and connect, thank you. Each act of generosity helped turn a fall morning into something meaningful for our wider Calgary community.

We’re also grateful to the Tuscany Club, Sobeys Tuscany, The Workhorse Mobile Bar, Barkin Boler, Evolve Contracting and Lucas, who helped bring our photo booth to life. Along with our team and volunteers, you helped make everyone feel welcome and gave families some lovely memories to take home.

Event photos are now ready to view and download through our website. We hope you find a favourite to keep! There are so many sweet moments in this years gallery. If you share yours on social media, tag us, so we can enjoy the sweet moments with you!

🎃 Enter our pumpkin carving contest by posting a photo of your carved pumpkin on Instagram and tagging both @themckelviegroup and @evolvecontractingyyc. Evolve will choose the winner of the prize they donated (valued at $300+) on October 31!

For 27 years, this community has helped keep a wonderful tradition going. Thank you for being part of it and for showing how much we can do when we come together.

With heartfelt thanks,
All of us at The McKelvie Group
