For 27 years, The McKelvie Group Real Estate Team has proudly carried on this community tradition, purchasing pumpkins and donating our time to bring this event to life. In return, we simply ask our community to bring a non perishable food donation or cash donation for the Calgary Food Bank.
For 27 years, The McKelvie Group's Pumpkin Giveaway has brought families together for one of our favourite fall traditions. Each October, fifteen huge bins of pumpkins are transformed into a pumpkin patch at the Tuscany Club, and families from Tuscany, northwest Calgary and surrounding communities join us to choose a pumpkin and enjoy the day.
What makes this event special isn't really the pumpkins. It's watching kids proudly arrive with their colouring contest entries, families stopping for photos, neighbours catching up and parents showing their children how a simple food or cash donation can help another family in our community.
Over the years, thousands of pumpkins have gone home, countless photos have been taken and thousands of dollars have been raised for the Calgary Food Bank. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has made this tradition part of their family's fall, and we can't wait to do it all again this October.
