Christmas shopping, local makers and a visit with Santa are coming together at the Bearspaw Community Centre this November. The Bearspaw Christmas Market runs November 26–29, 2026, with four days of gifts, seasonal food, live music and activities for families.
For people living in Bearspaw, Cochrane and northwest Calgary, it’s an opportunity to shop close to home while supporting local vendors and the Bearspaw Community Association.
Bearspaw Christmas Market Dates, Hours and Admission
The market takes place at the Bearspaw Community Centre, 253220 Bearspaw Road.

What to Expect at the Market
The organizers have planned six themed spaces, bringing shopping, entertainment and places to gather into one event.
Gifts and Local Makers
The Grand Market Hall will feature vendors offering gifts, décor and seasonal items. The Little Elves Market gives young entrepreneurs a place to share their Christmas goods and crafts.
Whether you’re looking for a present, something for your home or a small thank-you gift, browsing the market offers a chance to discover makers you might not otherwise come across.
Music, Food and Time to Catch Up
The Holly & Hearth Hall will combine live music with festive food and drink. A separate Fireside Lounge is also planned, subject to weather and final event arrangements.
These gathering spaces make it easy to turn a shopping trip into an afternoon or evening with friends and neighbours.
Santa Visits and Gift Wrapping
Visits to Santa’s Fireside Grotto are included with general admission during advertised Santa hours. His schedule has not yet been posted, so check the official market page before planning your visit around Santa.
Young community helpers will also provide complimentary gift wrapping at Santa’s Wrapping Workshop.
Country Christmas VIP Night: November 19
Ahead of the public market, the Community Association is hosting a Country Christmas VIP Night on Thursday, November 19, from 6–10 p.m.
This adults-only evening will include live country music, seasonal food and drinks, fundraising activities and a preview of select market vendors.
Tickets are $30 per person, and attendance is restricted to active BCA members aged 18 and older. Membership is verified before checkout.

A Different Destination from the Lions Farmers Market
The Christmas Market is hosted by the Bearspaw Community Association on Bearspaw Road. It is separate from the Bearspaw Lions Farmers Market on Nagway Road.
The Lions Farmers Market has finished its 2026 season and says it will return in June 2027. You can follow its updates through the Bearspaw Lions Club website.
Planning Your Drive
If your route includes Burma Road, check conditions before leaving. Rocky View County has posted a construction notice for work between Range Road 24 and Bearspaw Road, with possible delays and partial lane closures.
