Looking for Christmas markets and holiday activities close to home? This year’s plans include the Varsity Christmas Craft Sale, community activities at the Varsity Community Centre, and two outdoor holiday markets in nearby University District.
For residents of Varsity and surrounding northwest Calgary communities, here are some dates to keep handy as you plan your November and December outings.
Varsity Christmas Craft Sale: November 13–14
The Varsity Christmas Craft Sale returns to the Varsity Community Centre at 4303 Varsity Drive NW for two days:
- Friday, November 13, 2026: 2:30–6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, November 14, 2026: 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
The organizers are advertising more than 50 vendors offering handmade items, including pottery, jewellery, woodcrafts, knitting, artwork and home décor. New City Church Calgary will also hold its annual bake sale fundraiser.
It’s an opportunity to browse for gifts, support makers and pick up some baking close to home.
If you’ve noticed a “sold out” message on the association’s website, that refers to vendor tables.
Check the Varsity Christmas Craft Sale page for current details.
