Fall is bringing some noticeable changes to Scenic Acres and Crowfoot in northwest Calgary. New restaurants are coming to Crowfoot Crossing, the Scenic Acres Community Association has a busy fall calendar underway, and several familiar neighbourhood traditions are returning.
For residents of Scenic Acres, Arbour Lake, Ranchlands, Silver Springs, Tuscany and northwest Calgary, here is what is happening around the neighbourhood this fall and what is still to come.
What new restaurants are coming to Crowfoot Crossing?
Three restaurant openings have caught our attention around Crowfoot Crossing: Morning Brunch Co., UNA Pizza + Wine and Rosie's Burgers.
Morning Brunch Co. is coming to Crowfoot
Morning Brunch Co. has announced a new Crowfoot location, with plans to open later in 2026.
The Calgary brunch restaurant is known for breakfast and brunch favourites including eggs Benedict, omelettes and mini pancakes, along with handcrafted drinks. The Crowfoot location will add another breakfast and brunch option for residents of Scenic Acres and the surrounding northwest Calgary communities.
An exact opening date has not been announced, so we'll be watching for an update.
UNA Pizza + Wine is opening at Crowfoot Crossing
UNA Pizza + Wine is also expanding into Crowfoot Crossing.
The new location is planned as a takeout-focused UNA, offering favourites including its California-style pizzas, pasta and salads. Current reports have the Crowfoot Crossing location scheduled to open later in 2026, although a firm opening date has not yet been announced.
For Scenic Acres residents, this will put another well-known Calgary restaurant very close to home without having to travel farther into the city.
Rosie's Burgers has secured a Crowfoot Crossing location
Rosie's Burgers is another confirmed addition to Crowfoot Crossing.
In July 2026, Rosie's parent company announced that a franchisee had secured a Crowfoot Crossing location as part of the brand's continued expansion in Western Canada. Rosie's specializes in classic smash burgers along with fries, poutine, onion rings, chicken sandwiches and milkshakes.
An opening date for the Crowfoot location has not yet been announced.
Why are the new Crowfoot restaurants important for Scenic Acres?
One of the things residents value about Scenic Acres is its combination of a quieter residential setting with easy access to major amenities.
Crowfoot Crossing is immediately adjacent to Scenic Acres and already provides groceries, restaurants, professional services, entertainment and everyday shopping. It is also home to the Crowfoot CTrain station, making this part of northwest Calgary an important hub for several surrounding communities.
The arrival of additional restaurants may seem like a small change, but these are exactly the kinds of neighbourhood developments that affect day-to-day life. A new breakfast spot, pizza place or quick dinner option becomes part of the routine for people who actually live nearby.
And Crowfoot isn't finished changing.
As new businesses open or announce plans for the area, we'll continue updating our local community coverage.

What is Scenic Acres like to live in?
Scenic Acres is an established northwest Calgary community located along the Bow River escarpment, with convenient access to Crowchild Trail, Stoney Trail and Crowfoot.
For many residents, one of its biggest advantages is the balance between residential streets and nearby amenities. Crowfoot Crossing is close by, while pathways and green spaces give parts of the community a very different feel from the surrounding commercial areas.
That combination is also why neighbourhood changes like new Crowfoot restaurants matter. Residents don't have to choose between a quieter established community and convenient shopping and dining. Much of it is already close to home.
Is Crowfoot Crossing in Scenic Acres?
Crowfoot Crossing is a neighbouring commercial district rather than part of Scenic Acres itself, but its proximity makes it one of the primary shopping and dining areas for Scenic Acres residents.
It also serves surrounding northwest Calgary communities including Arbour Lake, Ranchlands, Hawkwood, Silver Springs and Tuscany.
What restaurants are opening in Crowfoot in 2026?
As discussed above, three of the notable additions announced for the Crowfoot area are:
Morning Brunch Co.
A new breakfast and brunch location expected later in 2026.
UNA Pizza + Wine
A new takeout-focused Crowfoot Crossing location expected later in 2026.
Rosie's Burgers
The burger brand has secured a Crowfoot Crossing location, although an opening date has not yet been announced.
